19-year-old Russian twins Zoya and Denis Ranostaj tell of their overwhelming joy upon receiving Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes (www.samaritanspurse.org) as gifts while in a Russian orphanage, their only gifts in the years while there. (Both their parents were dead.) Their shoeboxes, and the OCC messengers who delivered them, led the twins to a life changing faith in Jesus Christ!
The 2012 Operation Christmas Child effort — combined with all the shoeboxes sent in the past — brings the cumulative total of shoeboxes given to poor children worldwide to more than
100,000,000! That’s one hundred million shoeboxes total!
The twins' adoptive mother, Julie Ranostaj of St. Louis, is also a part of the radio conversation.
