Pastor Mark Levesque (Le vec’) and his congregation address the epidemic of heroin deaths with connections to his St. Louis area (St. Peters) congregation – five in just a few months! They responded by their developing a ministry that, in its early days, has proved 80% successful in overcoming drug addictions. Pastor Mark notes that the ministry is reproducible, and invites others to examine it. Just a point of clarification, during the interview, Pastor Mark quoted an 80% success rate for overcoming heroin addiction. The 80% success rate he was pointing to was for drug addiction in general, heroin addiction being only a part of that statistic.
