Beginning with the two co-founders in 2008, membership in Life Runners is now composed of over 500 members in 22 states. Over 2,500 receive their weekay morning devotions at www.LIFEgroup413.org. Their printed message on all their running jerseys — in running in races all over the country in behalf of helpless unborn children — reads : "REMEMBER The Unborn, Jer 1:5."
In the call of God to Jeremiah, Jeremiah 1:5 says …
“The Word of the Lord came to [Jeremiah], saying ‘Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.’” (underlining mine) Jeremiah 1:5.
In referring to Jeremiah in the womb before he was born, five times the living God refers to His beloved unborn Jeremiah with the personal pronoun (“you”) of personhood. While in his mother’s womb, God said Jeremiah was a person.
