Stacy Smith grieved at 22-a-day suicides of fellow veterans; now leads www.rebootrecovery.com group

Stacy Smith of St. Louis retired from the military after serving more than 10 years as a Military Policeman (MP).

She is pained at the fact that an average of 22-a-day suicides of her of her fellow veterans.

As a response to her desire to improve this tragedy and reduce the number of military suicides, Stacy now leads a 12-week course in a St. Louis Church with the content provided by “Reboot Combat Recovery,” described at www.rebootrecovery.com.

These get-togethers are available 6 – 8 PM each Thursday.  A meal is provided for those attending and includes a time for sharing and healing.  From the website we are told that “Spouses and friends are urged to participate.”  The location is the building of Clayton Community Church at 2501 Rockford Ave, St. Louis, MO 63144 …  to contact, call 314-961-2232.

Stacy is a volunteer, not getting paid in money (but in gratification) with her desire to come along side of these men and women who have served our country. Many now having such pain who, in many cases, do not want to go on living.  She can be called at 573 202-8181 to learn more.

Reboot Combat Recovery is a faith-based Christian ministry, intended to bring comfort, acceptance, and healing.  They are successful in providing love and reinforcement to our military people.  If it is a bit late to begin the current one, but other arrangements can be made.
