Compassion is an appropriate response to those impacted by the practice of homosexuality. I have a cousin so impacted. I want a better life for him. I have tried to get him on the radio to talk about it., about his “full-blown” AIDS. He now ministers to those in the lifestyle.
After years trapped in the “gay” lifestyle, Rev Jim Venice gained his freedom … and now provides a ministry to others with sexual complications and “hang-ups.”
His “Pure Heart Ministries” (www.pureheartministries.org) is “a Sexual purity Ministry serving the St Louis bi-state region.” Confidential help and support is readily available to those having sexual complications … through small groups and “one to one” counseling.
Their confidential and private telephone number is (636) 679-6815.
From www.pureheartministries.org, …
“We believe that Jesus Christ came to redeem our whole person including our SEXUALITY! ‘Flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the name of the Lord from a PURE HEART. ‘ (2 Timothy2:22)
“Serving Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois from our office in O’Fallon, MO .”
“An endorsement of the Restored Hope Network … of which Rev Venice is a founding member … by James C. Dobson, Ph.D.
“As the battle for marriage and the home grows more intense than ever, I am encouraged by the work of the Restored Hope Network. The homosexual lobby has spent many decades and dollars infiltrating the culture to the point that even some churches and Christian leaders now acquiesce to the gay agenda. But Anne Paulk and the leadership of Restored Hope are standing faithful to the Biblical model of marriage and human sexuality, and in fact, to the Gospel itself. I applaud their vital work.”
James C. Dobson, Ph.D
Jim Venice welcomes your call … again … at (636) 679-6815.
A number of other radio conversations on the subject are to be found on www.haroldhendrick.com. Some address the vastly underreported aspects of those in the “lifestyle:”
- Are much more vulnerable to sexually t4ransmitted diseases;
- Red Cross cannot knowingly take their blood to save the life of others and
- Studies show that – on average – they die years too soon.
Such realities raise the question as to why such facts are unknown to most people. It would seem that more efforts would be made to try to save those in the “lifestyle” from themselves!!.
