He is sales manager of the Bommarito Ford dealership about 15 minutes for Joan and my home in North St. Louis County. I first titled his story: “Would you by a car from this man?” The answer turned out to be “yes” for us. It looks like we are about to do just that!
The Spirit of God brought Brad under “conviction” several years ago. That “conviction” was mine at age 15 … when I was drawn to faith in Christ.
About the concept of conviction, Jesus said just before he went back to Heaven … “… I will send him [the Holy Spirit] to you. When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment. In regard to sin because men do not believe in me. In regard to righteousness because I am going to the father and you can see me no longer. And in regard to judgement, because the prince of this world [Satan] now stands condemned.
So the Holy Spirit of God, mercifully and lovingly, brought conviction of sin to Brad. And a man of God, Dr. Phil Hunter … skilled in leading many in saving faith to Jesus … was there to help, from the Bible, he walk Brad Gilbert to faith in Jesus.
Brad’s spiritual hunger, under the guidance of Dr. Hunter (www.thinkinggod.org) (www.thinkinggod.com) (www.thinkinggod.org) has grown into a mature man of God! His life has meaning like never before! Jesus said: “… I have come that they might have life, and have it to the full!” (John 10:10)
