Jeanne Hulme (“Hul em”) is giving herself to developing and supporting evangelistic and discipleship ministry for children through Child Evangelism Fellowship. (See www.cefonline.com and on Facebook, click here. Jeanne and the CEF staff place a high priority on local church sponsorship on Good News Clubs. Every church can sponsor an after-hours Good News Club in their neighborhood elementary school.
In Good News Clubs and “Christmas Across America” once-a-year parties for children (www.christmasacrossamerica.com), teenagers can be a part of the leadership.

From www.cefonline.com:
“Want to know more about Good News Clubs?
For most of a century, Child Evangelism Fellowship has shared the love of God and the message of Jesus Christ with children and adults around the world. One of our primary methods is through Good News Clubs, during which children having parental or custodial permission receive biblical instruction in voluntary classes.
All children who attend must have permission from their parent or guardian. Some of these Good News Clubs are held in schools, as permitted by the United States Supreme Court in a 2001 decision, which specifically ruled in favor of the right of Good News Clubs, stating that the First Amendment affords the right to meet on the elementary school campus just like other after-school programs or clubs. All our work is open, transparent and useful to schools and communities across America. Our ministry teaches morals and respect for others, helps build character, strengthens families, assists schools and encourages children. We frequently receive comments of support from school officials, bus drivers and parents which complement the positive change in the behavior of the boys and girls who attend Good News Clubs. Our mission is to serve the children, their parents, the school and the community”
Training is provided for the volunteers.
From www.cefonline.com:
“The TRAINING of individuals multiplies our ministry and enables us to many more children with the Gospel than we otherwise could. For the past eight years we have trained over 250,000 TEACHERS annually. Training is vital if we are to see more children reached for His glory.”
