With the commitment and purpose I see in Dale Pugh, I never suspected he had a “past!” But he talks about it in this radio conversation, along with the complete turnaround he experienced “… when he called on the Lord from a jail cell!”
Below he shares his life’s summary … in his own words:
“Dale was raised in the St. Louis area. As a young man he was rebellious and got involved in the drug culture. After being arrested five times by age 17 he had a dramatic salvation experience when he called on the Lord from a jail cell. After being gloriously saved he received a call to the ministry.
“Dale and his wife Kathy served as missionaries for seventeen years in Mexico. While raising three children they were involved in church planting, leadership training and marriage ministry. He is a graduate of International Bible College and Seminary and King’s Way Missionary Institute. Dale is now International Coordinator of World Indigenous Missions. [See www.worldim.org] .
“Dale is traveling internationally. He has taken the Gospel to over 30 countries on five continents. Besides writing books he has done extensive work on radio and in the press.”
Though Dale Pugh’s mission service takes him all over the world, I am among the many who observe his good influence right here in mid-America.
Though Dale was in jail but a short time, the Holy Spirit used his time in jail for him to “…call upon the Lord,” resulting in his life-changing salvation. Christian witnesses shared the “Good News” with him – Ron Sutton, Joe Mancuso, Rolland Smith (now in Heaven) and Rolland’s wife Carrie – who he continues to love and appreciates!
