Describing herself as a “young southern girl,” Laura Bower felt “voiceless” and “unimportant.” With her life filled with many problems – anger, illnesses, and all kinds of stresses – she asked God: “Teach me to pray!”
“I really did not know how to pray. I needed to learn how to connect with God in prayer.”
In a process of seeking the Lord and His help, she delighted in learning of so many promises of God in his word.
The result? “I learned to speak His word … in my prayer life.” She learned to speak and pray the promises of God.
Thus the title of her book describing the journey: Wordspeak – His word, My Prayer.
In Laura Bower’s book and radio conversation … which you can hear now … are found good insights to help our prayer lives.
She extends a challenge: “… with today’s problems, we cannot just do business as usual. God is looking for an army of people…to pray.”
