Are our Christian young people worth it? How does one place a price tag on a treasured young person – a child, grandchild or another — having a more solid biblical “grounding” of their faith? On improving the likelihood of their biblical faith not being destroyed when they leave home, that is!
A sad reality: the faith of a majority of our professing Christian young people basically collapses when they leave home and go to college. Estimates are in the 60 – 80% failure rate!
One proven means of “improving the odd” of success is … Faith Ascent.
For those involved in Faith Ascent – who attend their very valuable summer “Base Camp” — the “success” rate becomes much closer to being 100% percent! Faith Ascent doesn’t guarantee it, but they have a great “track record” with our young people.
Amazing! Doxology!
Jeremy Smith is the Executive Director of Faith Ascent. He reports good news that a considerable amount of money has been donated by those indeed think young people are indeed “worth it!” Those funds are available to provide partial scholarships for attending the 2016 Faith Ascent “Base Camp” — at Lindenwood College near St. Louis — June 27 – July 1.
