Dr. George Stulac, following 33 years as Senior Pastor of Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, Mo, has assumed ministry with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship.
We are deeply moved – as are so many millions around the world – as we focus on the murder, the martyrdom, of 22 Kenyan University students – while attending an early morning Intervarsity prayer meeting. With more than 100 others murdered on the campus, they were surprised on the Thursday before Easter, 2015 by Islamic terrorists. The refused to deny their Lord Jesus Christ. So they were then shot to death. And they went to their new home in Heaven.
We then speak of other ministry matters – including the upcoming Urbana 15 Student Missions Conference (sponsored by Intervarsity Christen Fellowship – see www.urbana.org). This every-3-year gathering, conducted in St. Louis Mo, since 2006.
