Not every man can promote his wife as the more public of the couple.
But that is what Sam Sprott does for Sandy Sprott … with joy!
The focus is that of a series of eight children’s books featuring Little Kicker, a playful young donkey. (More at www.littlekicker.com and www.mbcpathway.com.)
Sandy tells us that … in her past … she remembers when she led “Kids Club” events in their home in Southern California. One year nearly 100 children came to faith in Jesus!
Husband Sam, a retired Allstate insurance agent, notes that he and Sandy now live in Hermitage, Missouri, just north of Springfield and Bolivar, MO. “We live in the suburbs to avoid all the traffic!” Hermitage is a village of just over 400 citizens!
Upon learning that hiring an illustrator for her books could cost up to $10,000 … per each book, she took on the task of learning to do her own illustrating. And you will agree that she did a very nice job.
Joan and I have three very young great-nephews – little cowboys in Waurika, in southern Oklahoma — at www.stuartranch.com. I wouldn’t be surprised if, very soon, they receive some “Little Kicker” books from Aunt Joan and Uncle Harold!
