JOY ELDER, Bott Radio St. Louis Regional Manager, and her fine son BLAKE ELDER, 21, upon their return from Zambia, Africa and the ministries there of AFRICAN VISION OF HOPE, share inspirational highlights.
Joy is a treasured friend of AVH founders BOB AND JUDI BERTELS, staffing the AVH international headquarters located less than an hour east from the St. Louis Bott studios in Maryville, IL, and is on the ministry’s board of advisors.
Joy came back from her AVH visit to Zambia with a burning message. Even with five AVH schools there, caring for more than 3,000 students, there is a need for a sixth school and a supportive dorm to care for more children, most of whom live in poverty!

As an exceptionally fine engineering student at the University of Missouri in Rolla, his lodging accommodations in Rolla is in a 
private Christian residence at the University, housing 50 – 60 students. Its unique features are regular bible studies attended by a good number of students.
