After recording through the years several radio conversations with Allan McGuirl – from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada – I am convinced that, once again, I am privileged to display one of the great works of God!
Think of it:

- These are hand-held radios – powered by both sunlight and artificial light – and require no batteries
- They are “fixed banded” – when produced, each is “locked-in” to local Christian radio stations in their region
- They are in 1,300 languages
- They are in at least 151 countries
- They each contain the whole bible
- They each contain 5-years of the teachings of Vernon McGee’s “Through the Bible Radio” … in many languages
- In the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem on “Easter week,” the Pharisees tried to silence the crowd from praising Jesus. He responded: “ … if these become silent, the stones will cry out!”
- Luke 19: 38 – 40) The little-fingernail sized graphite chips in each radio – made from ground-up stones — contain the whole bible and the teaching of Vernon McGee’s “Through the Bible” radio,” heard through the speaker of each radio. So, through each small solar Galcom radio, as Jesus said, “the stones are crying out!”

“Why does Galcom do what we do?
“
Because 70% of the world doesn’t read. Although the UN claims that 54% of the world is literate, that is skewed by people living in developed countries like Canada. Indigenous communities in Colombia and tribal groups in North Africa have tragically low levels of literacy.
“Because there are over 7 billion people in the world and less than 200,000 Protestant missionaries. We need to give those missionaries a tool to reach more people at a time…radio!
“Because there are over 6,000 unreached people groups in the world (where the population is less than 2% Christian) and 60% of those groups live in countries that missionaries cannot enter. But radio broadcasts from outside those countries cannot be stopped!
“Because over 70,000 people die every day within these closed countries having never heard of Jesus Christ.
“We are convinced that by partnering with Christians around the world and giving them the tools to reach more people at a time (radio) in a way they can understand it (audio form) we will literally save souls from eternal punishment in hell.”
