Ryan Wagner, our radio guest once again, grew up in First Baptist Church Ferguson, Mo, and his wife, Jamie VanHorn Wagner is out of Harvester Christian Church in St. Charles (Mo), both churches meeting in the St. Louis region. The couple has ministered for several years with students, first in the University of Missouri, then afterward in the University of Colorado. Now they are located in Orlando with Cru (formerly “Campus for Christ”) with emphasis on distributing the Jesus Film around the world. Their focus is to advance the Good News through the terrific “Jesus Film!”

In this radio conversation, Ryan explained that Cru includes involvement in a major a movement termed “Finishing the Task.” (See www.finishingthetask.com) The vision is to get the Good News to every unreached people group – and thus to every person – in the world. In 2018, under the leadership of Paul Eshleman, 300 “unreached people groups” were identified. Mission groups with the motivation of completing the “Great Commission” of Jesus (from the first Bible book of the New Testament, Mathew 28:19, 20) to get the Gospel to everyone, assumed the task of claiming and assuming each and every one of those 300 people groups in the next two years.
As I understand it, every one of those unreached people groups was claimed!
