This photo was made in relation to a different recording of the two Ferguson Chiefs of Police, but it includes some of the people referenced in the “Chiefs” copy. Clockwise from the top corner: HHH, then Ferguson Chief of Police Delrish Moss; Pastor Jose Aguayo, leader of the “Adopt a Block” Ministry and chaplain of the Ferguson Police Department; Joan (Mrs. Harold) Hendrick; Businessman Sam Rowley, leader of “Meals for a Million;” his Associate, Pastor Rick Biesiadecki; these two men led 2.500 volunteers in the St. Louis region serving during a two-day weekend through www.mealsforamillion.com in preparing more than 900,000 meals for the hungry in St. Louis. Ferguson Mayor James Knowles came to the recording a bit later, but missed being in the picture. Description for this interview:
The difficult and sad unrest in 2014 Ferguson, Mo, brought in as the new Ferguson Chief of Police, Delrish Moss from Miami, Florida. He had many years of experience in law enforcement.
Through volunteer Police Department Chaplain, Pastor Jose Aguayo, Delrish became my friend and shared several radio conversations with me. (See the links below.) After 2 ½ years of his leadership here, he returned to his home in Florida, largely to live with and take care of his mother.
So … welcome to the new Ferguson interim Chief, Frank McCall.
In this radio conversation these two fine men, you will hear them interact with each other and you will admire their “servants’ hearts” and attitudes! Both were in the final four in 2015 for selecting the new Chief. Chief Moss was sure that Officer McCall would be selected. But when Delrish Moss was chosen, he felt the need to bring Frank McCall onto his Ferguson Police Force team, which he did.
And now, with Chief Moss’s return to Florida, Chief McCall is the new Ferguson interim Chief.
Just the week of this writing, I have seen Chief McCall responding to a Ferguson police situations .. which he handled very well.
A main point in this radio conversation is seeing the partnering with the Ferguson public in general … and the Clergy and churches in particular. Both men have an attitude of being, as much as possible, available to make appearances in uniform, hopefully to reassure the people that … as long as citizens are law-abiding, they have “nothing to worry about” from the Ferguson Police Chief or Police Department.
Providing additional assurance of a spiritual worldview is that both men are professing followers of Jesus Christ. Chief McCall is a Deacon in his East St. Louis Church.
A special “thanks” to Ferguson Police Chaplin Pastor Jose Aguayo who, among other roles in his life, is a pastor, a Billy Graham Rapid Response Chaplain, and the leader of the “Adopt A Block” neighborhood ministries, vital in helping me make these connections and growing these healthy relationships with our appreciated first responders, including the police.

Thoughts that came after this “Ferguson Police Chief” radio conversation …
(I heard this concept somewhere) …
Wouldn’t it be good if we had on the walls of every classroom, every public place, a set of rules that, when followed, would reduce crime and other problems in society… improving life and the culture?
Rules that would direct us not to steal, not to murder, not to use the name of our Creator God as a curse word? Rules to not to have sex outside of marriage but only in marriage [one man to one woman], to honor our parents? And not to lie?
To “love our neighbor as ourselves?”
Well, we pretty much had that … until secularist who apparently thought they were smarter than God … and got rid of them.
They are “THE TEN COMMANDMENTS!”
Conditions have become worse since these “rules” (commandments) have been ruled “unlawful” in public schools and public places in too many places!
When discussing the days before His return (John 14:1-3), one of the indicators would be:
“… because of the increase in wickedness, the love of most will grow cold … “ (Matthew 24:12).
