Mark Oberhauser and his wife revealed they were willing to go and live anywhere in the world in their obedience and committed service to Jesus!
That is why all nine of them spent several years on the other side of the globe.
Our son David Hendrick “did a good thing” when he introduced me to Mark. They are friends, both in committed ministry, both involved in their children’s home schooling” [12 altogether] aided by the fact that Mark’s children and our Hendrick grandchildren are frequently together in the “Metro East” region of St. Louis, Missouri.

He is humbled & excited to be a part of spreading the gospel of Jesus to those in the Metro East & lead our team closer to Christ. Outside of FCA, you’ll see Mark on the football field coaching or carting around one of his seven kids to their various events.
“The influence of the Metro East FCA ministry has grown by leaps and bounds over the last eight years. Since the fall of 2007, a full time area representative has served the deepening campus and coaches ministries and has expanded the scope of the local community ministry.”
