Linda Doxtator PhD., LPC – Linda, a Cherokee from St. Louis Missouri, has worked extensively with survivors of trauma from sexual abuse, domestic violence, and major disasters. She specializes in understanding and working with victims displaying symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Linda is Clinical Supervisor and the Assistant Director of First Restoration Counseling Ministries. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her M.A. in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in N.Y. Linda received her doctorate in Counseling and Family Therapy at St. Louis University, St. Louis, MO.
At Washington University Medical School Linda was Disaster Coordinator and supervised teams that served the survivors of the Oklahoma bombing, the Great Flood of 1993, and several other disasters in the United States. She has also worked extensively with Native American survivors of Residential Schools and families in crisis.”
Since her profound born again experience twenty-nine years ago, the Lord has used Linda’s prior life experience as a survivor of domestic violence, along with the education and training He ordained, to facilitate healing and restoration in the lives of those seeking assistance.
