Sexual Brokenness!
It’s seems to be everywhere. And First Light St Louis (www.firstlightstlouis.com) wants to help … in confidence, and without rendering judgment.
It is ministry. And the ministry wants to help wherein there is sexual brokenness. Those with same-sex attractions, those who have been sexually promiscuous, those married to someone who is unfaithful to the marriage vows and wants to save the marriage … on and on.
Executive Director Sean Maney and Women’s Director Dawn Jones each lead several groups in these areas.
Have a sexual problem and you want to please God in moving forward in relation to sexual brokenness? First Light St. Louis was begun by area pastors after much prayer.
They recommend additional counseling when it is a need and is appropriate.
They place the important matter of sex into a Biblical context, knowing that God has a standard that pleases Him and that is best for all of us.
In this radio conversation, we reference the “Woman at the Well.” (John 4:1-20) Jesus knew that she had had five husbands and that the man she was now living with was not her husband.
And yet He offered her the “water of life!”
The “Prodigal Son” was wasting his life in wild, wicked living, including prostitutes. Yet, in desperation, when he returned home, he found that his father (representing God) still loved him and gave him a compassionate, loving welcome home and restoration.

Sean Maney makes us aware of a one evening conference for young people on spotlighting the disastrous dangers of pornography, to be conducted at Central Presbyterian Church in St. Louis. It is titled “Fight the New Drug” of porn. Hundreds of young people are expected.
First Light St. Louis is, indeed, a ministry of love that wants to accept you and to be your friend. They also help churches in speaking to groups and to know how to better minister in these areas.
