Brad Wos is Executive Director of the Sports Chaplains Network (www.sportsoutreachgroup.org). He and the group are devoted – by his vision and adult lifetime of doing it – to seeing and utilizing sports as a means of ministry in advancing the “Good News.”.
Living in St. Louis, he reports on the St. Louis portion of the Cup of Nations soccer tournament (www.cupofnations.com) that, in 2016, involved more than 40 soccer teams of mostly area international and refugees. It was a great success!
Beginning in St. Louis and Houston in 2010, Cup of Nations is now in 20 cities and in 20 countries.
Brad’s trip to the Rio Olympics involves working with two groups ministering the street children of Rio. More on each of them is available at www.streetchildunited.org and www.lionspaw.org (out of England).
In his 12 years in Cape Town, South Africa, Brad “… served as the Global Sport Director and University Ministry Coordinator for Mission to the world… and was a SAFA/UEFA certified soccer coach who loves networking and has … helped organize a local and global discipleship network to Coach in Grace.”
Brad Wos’s ministry has a major focus on helping others – ministries, churches, individuals – discover ways to utilize sports in advancing the Good News of Jesus. He can be emailed at Wosfamily@gmail.com
