Brad Wos has given many years of his life to honoring Jesus through sports. Some, not all, of the “prongs” of his focus are as follows:
· Supporting the Cup of Nations soccer tournament) in St. Louis. It is sponsored by Jesus Followers like Brad, the next one – as of this writing — occurring July 11 – 16, 2016. In a fascinating and effective process, the tournament is made up of dozens of local ethnic and national teams. See www.cupofnations.com.
· Taking a team to the International Olympics Games in Rio, Brazil on August 2 – 14, 2016. Contact Brad if you have interest in going. Ministry in Rio will not only include a focus on the Olympians and their support teams, but also on Rio’s “Street Kids” – working with Street Child United composed of poor, homeless, orphaned children,.
· Supporting SportLife Elite Coaches Training, one example being that of February 12 & 13, 2016, If reading this beyond that date, watch for others like it. Information and registration is available at www.cupofnations.com .
