First, a funny story: before volunteers provided 5-pound-capacity parachutes, Columbian missionary Russell Stendal dropped Christian literature out of his small airplane into the dangerous areas. A rebel military soldier (“gorilla”) was once hit on his head by a book dropped from the shy. The book? Dr. James Dobson’s When God doesn’t make sense!
Russell quit dropping literature in that manner, explaining, “I didn’t want to kill someone by hitting him over the head with a Bible!”

“Bullet points” included in this remarkable 10-minutes of radio:
· Millionaire Harold Kent, now with the Lord, spend millions of his dollars to produce hundreds of thousands of the solar radios produced by Galcom International (www.galcom.org)to advance the Gospel of Jesus;
· These radio – about ½ pound each, similar in size to a deck of cards — are locked into an area’s Christian radio stations;
· In dangerous areas … such as in parts of Columbia, South America … a radio and another ministry item or two are dropped from a small airplane by a five-pound-capacity parachute;
· The radios in the parachutes are typically turned on … and thus the gospel is being sounded … as they are coming down from the sky, when they land on the ground or caught in trees.
· These radio include computer “chips” that are heard through the small solar radios contain the whole bible in several languages, J. Vernon McGee’s “Through the Bible” teaching series in several languages, (in Columbia) 500 – 1,000 hours of Russell Stendal’s teaching and preaching, Russell and his daughter each voicing the whole bible, etc. … all heard on these Galcom radios;
· What was thought to be a risk … a woman, Russell’s daughter reading aloud the bible … was received with great enthusiasm and thanksgiving by women, since so many women have been abused by men (available at www.megavoice.com);
