Found! Radio w/STL Cardinal great Wally Moon, author of “Moon Shots;” & his fan club Prez Judy Boen

After my hosting radio with yesteryear  St. Louis Cardinal great Wally Moon and his “forever fan club President” Judy Boen, Wally asked me for a copy of it.

I couldn’t find it!

But in my bride’s looking for recorded radio we had done with Judy Boen when she, as a young wife, was secretary to the world famous astronauts, Joan found it!  (One more confirmation that I married well.)

Again, this radio is “out of the archives,” but the very inspiration of it is still powerful and “right there.”

Wally Moon forever fan club President Judy Boen was the founder of Christian Family Day at Busch Stadium, culminating one Saturday a year for 19 years, providing the day – with food, games, and a clear Christian witness for thousands of inner-city children.  The Cardinals won-loss record for those years was 17 – 2!
