Worku Geremew, native of Ethiopia, is pastor of a developing South St. Louis, MO, Church. On any given Sunday his congregation will be composed of people from a number of different nations.
In this time of radio Pastor Worku tells of internationals living locally who have come to saving faith in Jesus. Both the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus and the loving and hospitable atmosphere of the church fellowship serves to make a remarkable impact on friends from around the world, so different than what so many of them have ever experienced. Many of them are thus drawn to faith in Christ.
To provide both jobs and ministry for internationals living in St. Louis, Pastor Worku has developed a cleaning business for homes and companies with, as of this writing, about 40 employees. When their company is utilized to provide cleaning services, the Gospel is advanced. Each employee must be involved in “Discovery” Bible teaching sessions.

In another realm of ministry, both financial planner Dan Davis and Pastor Worku Geremew discuss in this radio segment the Cup of Nations (www.cupofnations.com)Soccer Tournament for internationals living in the St. Louis area. Both are on the leadership and planning team of the tournament.
With soccer being the most popular sport in the world, people from many nations living in the St. Louis area are assisted in forming teams of people from their nation … or from several nations … to enter the tournament and compete.
In 2014, its fifth year of competition, more than 40 teams of international competed. Afterward a hearty meal is prepared for the participants … and for other local people … to get acquainted, form friendships, with an intent to see bonding relationships.
