Messianic Jew Jake Roses is co-pastor of Clayton Community Church (in the St. Louis, MO area), and is an excellent artist having (as of this writing) a showing of his Biblically-themed paintings in New York City. Some of his work is available at his church building site.
Samples of Jake’s giant artistry can be seen at www.jewish-painter.com, and then click on “Sprinkling Paint.”
Most of the previous generation of Jake’s family (aunts, uncles, grandparents) was murdered by the Nazis in World War II.
Near the end of World War II, his mother as a teenager was held prisoner in the Nazi’s Auschwitz death camp. She contracted an illness that put her into a coma. When she awoke, Auschwitz had been liberated by the Allied forces. Had she not lived – as most confined there did not — she would not have later met and married her husband, nor would she have given birth to our longtime friend, biological Jew, man of God, and for many years a worshipper of Jesus Christ the Messiah, Jake Rosen.
Here a summary of Jake Rosen’s story … in his own words.
