St. Louis area leader Jennifer Whyman of Moms in Prayer tells of founder Fern Nichols yearning for the wellbeing of her children, then inviting a few other moms to her home to pray for their children and the particular school they attended. This “mustard seed” small beginning surprisingly has given birth to a great prayer movement in which every mom – every woman – is invited to regularly get with a few other ladies to pray for all things related to their children and the schools they attend.
Moms in Prayer is now in more than 120 countries!
They sometimes sponsor gatherings in larger groups to pray, to grow in praying better, and to encourage one another.
