Joe Mott IV is the Communications Supervisor of the My Hope America project of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (www.myhopewithbillygraham.com).
Formerly in TV news, Joe has served in 6 different foreign countries working with Churches to carry out the “My Hope” Project — Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Malawi, and Zambia. Following Joe’s ministry in Mexico, he and Melisa married … and she ministered with him in all the countries following Mexico.
In the 12 years of the “My Hope” movement in 57 countries worldwide – which is focused on prayer, one-to-one relationships, and in small groups (instead of stadium events) – more than 10 million people have come to saving faith in Christ! These amazing results are more than three times the magnificent total of the 3 million people who responded to Jesus in Mr. Graham’s career of preaching Jesus in stadium events and other large venues.
Support and training is available for churches and individuals who want to learn more about My Hope America. Joe Mott can be reached by calling 704-401-2605 or email jmott@bgea.org. The My Hope America Coordinator in Missouri is my longtime friend Dr. David Claybrook, accessible at 314 741-9283 or email cdavec@charter.net. A personal note: Joan and I were invited to an April 24,2912 gathering at the Charlotte, NC headquarters of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. There Franklin Graham and other BGEA leaders “cast a vision” for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through “My Hope with Billy Graham,” now renamed, My Hope America. Upon arriving at our nearby hotel Joan and I received warm Christian hospitality from Melissa and Joe Mott.
