Messianic Jake Rosen: family members killed by Nazis in WW II; He is pastor, artist, Jesus follower

February 22, 2013

Several family members of Jake Rosen’s previous generation (aunts, uncles, etc.) were murdered by the Nazis in World War II.  Jake’s mother was in the Auschwitz (mass death) concentration camp for Jews.  She went into a coma before the end of WW II (which likely saved her life), and awoke after the war ended, during which time her sister died.  His father’s experience included imprisonment in Siberia. Both survived, met and married after the war, and Jake Rosen was one good result!

Jake’s story and some of his impressive works of art are found at www.jewish-painter.com.

As a young adult Jake was drawn to faith in Jesus as his Messiah … and he is still very much Jewish.  He is co-pastor of Clayton Community Church and is also leading a Messianic church “plant” in St. Louis, MO.
