LifeRunners Relay for Life began with one group departing from the Brooklyn Bridge in New York and the other from the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco … to connect in the middle of the country.
As of this writing, more than 1,000 pro-life relay joggers, ages 5 – 75, have signed up, most running a 5K (3.1 mile) link. (Can you take part?) They are coming into St. Louis (MO) County (from Alton, IL to St. Louis City, passing just a half mile from our home) March 10, 2013 … and arriving in Kansas City March 18… onward until connecting with the other group.
