Dr. (in analytical chemistry) Pat Castle, Lt. Col in the m military, is founder of “LifeRunners” (www.liferunners.org), runners who run for health – theirs and the lives of innocent unborn children! Their running t-shirts reference the prophet Jeremiah, chapter 1, verse 5 (Jer 1:5) which reads:
“The word of the Lord came to me, saying, ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.’”
Five times Jeremiah quotes God in using the pronoun of personhood — “you” – (Jeremiah 1:4) to emphasize that Jeremiah was a person before he was born. He was a person while still in his mother’s womb!
LifeRunners (with members in more than half of the 50 states) participate in many races around the country wearing their Jer. 1:5 t-shirts . Pat mentions two races sponsored by LifeRunners: (1) in St. Louis Oct 20 & 21, 2012, and (2) in 2013 that covers the USA from coast to coast, wherein LifeRunners begin at each side of the country … and meet half way.
