In his passion to advance religious liberty, hear Joe Ortwerth in his own words urges Missouri voters on August 7th, 2012 to vote for a powerful and important tool to advance – and guarantee constitutional protects to – religious liberty.
Joe says: “Vote for Amendment 2. Vote for religious liberty.” I echo and affirm his support of Amendment 2. Hear his discuss this most important issue here … in his own words. Amendment 1 is also explained at his website: www.missourifamily.org.
Joe Ortwerth is the founder and director of the Missouri Family Policy Council. He served 12 years in the Missouri legislature and 12 years as the County Executive of St. Charles County, MO. While elected and reelected to this highest political office in the fasting growing county in Missouri (immediately west of St. Louis County), Joe experienced a call of God on his life to leave the world of elective and impacting public service to serve as pastor, he thought, of a small church congregation.
But the result of his call was to positively influence and minister to, not just one congregation … but to the whole state of Missouri … and beyond … as founder and leader of the Missouri Family Policy Council (www.missourifamily.org).
Their website explains their great mission working independent of but parallel to Focus on the Family.
