Lynne Jackson, great-great granddaughter of history’s Dred & Harriet Scott and a delightful follower of Jesus shares re (1) the Dred Scott bust inducted into the Hall of Famous Missourians in the Missouri State Capitol Building in Jefferson City, MO; and (2) the dedication of the first ever statue of a new statue of Dred & Harriet Scott at “Dred Scott Way” at the east side of the historic Downtown Old Capitol building in St. Louis, MO, 3:00 PM Friday, June 8, 2012. The statue, a bit larger than life size, warmly captures the love and bonding of the Scotts to each other and the resolve to their cause. A model of it can be seen at www.thedredscottfoundation.org.
