Dr. Paul Cedar is the strong, effective and gracious chairman/CEO of the Mission America Coalition (MAC). He and his team of leaders are focused on MAC’s mission statement of “The Whole Church taking the Whole Gospel to the Whole Nation – and the World.” Their methods to do it are through “…prayer, care, and share … “and by “…loving our communities to Christ…” Their solid Biblical foundation is the Lausanne Covenant, available at www.missionamerica.org under “statement of faith.” More than 300 denominations and ministry groups have endorsed MAC’s vision. Honorary founding chairman were John Perkins, the late Bill Bright, and Billy Graham.
The Mission America Coalition meets annually. In 2011 it is in Orlando, FL April 4-7, with sessions in the headquarters of Campus Crusade for Christ International and Wycliffe Bible Translators. Since no denomination or Christian group can expect to complete the Great Commission of Jesus (Matthew 28:19, 20) alone, MAC offers its services and welcomes your participation. Dr. Cedar expresses his hope that some of you will yet join the nearly 500 already registered to come to Orlando. See www.orlando2011.org for info and for “signing up.”
A few highlights of Dr. Cedar’s biography, prior to his serving as MAC’s CEO, include …
