Michael “Brother Boogie” Anders was a compulsive gambler. To finance his gambling habit, “Boogie” began robbing banks. He was caught following the second bank robbery and sent to prison. While there he experienced a dramatic conversion to Christ. Fellow inmates, who knew him as “Boogie,” then gave him the label of “Brother Boogie.” Following an early release he began the “Michael Anders Prison Ministry,” wherein he assisted those in prison and ex-offenders look for a better life. In efforts to raise funds for his new ministry, Brother Boogie applied for a grant from one of the banks he had robbed … and received from that bank a $5.000! When he appeared on the Christian Broadcasting Network’s “700 Club,” he was introduced as going “…from thieving to believing” … which he liked. Hear Boogie tell his remarkable story in his own words, interjecting humor along the way. Michael “Brother Boogie” can be emailed at mapm2004@aol.com or called at 314 605-7173.
