Emerson Eggerichs (www.loveandrespect.com) recently led a “Love and Respect” Marriage Conference conducted in the First Evangelical Free Church of St. Louis (www.efree.org). It was co-sponsored by Dr. James Dobson’s Focus On The Family. Approximately 1,600 from throughout the region were in attendance. While the radio conversation was timed to promote the event, Dr. Eggerichs’ summarized his basic message that has proven powerful in strengthening marriages. It underscores the Biblical teaching of Ephesians 6: God’s plan is that each husband is to love his wife and each wife is to respect her husband.
